Physical standards are region-specific and vary by state. However, the general indicative standards are as follows:

Indicative general ranges include a height of 162–170 cm (minimum), a chest of 77 cm unexpanded with 5 cm expansion, and proportionate weight. Relaxations apply for outstanding sportsmen — Height (+2 cm), Chest (+3 cm), Weight (+5 kg).

For example, the minimum height for candidates from Karnataka and Kerala is 165 cm. Chest measurement should be 77 cm with a 5 cm expansion. Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standards and BMI.

⚠️ Always check the region-specific physical standards chart in the official notification for your state, as these figures differ zone-wise.

🏃 PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (PFT) — DETAILED BREAKDOWN

After clearing the online CEE exam, shortlisted candidates are called for a Recruitment Rally where they must pass the Physical Fitness Test. Here are the complete details:

⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNINGS — BEWARE OF FRAUD

In the past, a number of candidates have been found victims of touts and fake documents. Common modus operandi used by touts include: issuing fake Physical Fitness Test (PFT) slips, conducting fake recruitment rallies, snatching original certificates from candidates declared fit at the initial stage and harassing them, taking away admit cards from candidates under false pretenses, and giving candidates false assurance of recruitment by claiming to have contacts at appropriate levels.

Recruitment is purely based on merit depending on available vacancies. A Grievance Cell will be established at the Rally Site to note and redress any grievances.
